albotas: A Little Bit On The Bleach Side: Warner Bros. and Viz Media are teaming up to make a bastardized live-action version of the Bleach manga. Peter Segal will be producing and is in talks to direct, which makes perfect sense since he’s directed such classics as The Longest Yard, Get Smart, and Nutty Professor 2: The Klumps. Not only that, but they’re getting Dan Mazeau (the dude writing the Clash of the Titans sequel) to pen the script. I’m sure otaku everywhere are thrilled about this. If it’s any consolation, Masi Oka (aka Hiro from Heroes) is one of the producers. That’s pretty cool. I guess. I thought at first that I read that Masi Oka was acting in it, which would be cool.  Everything else about this announcement made me want Bankai someone’s ass.
